Hi George,

The manufacturer is no longer in business, but sometimes you can find some pop up on Amazon and on Craigslist.

Good luck!

Hi Christina:

Unfortunately, the manufacturer is no longer in business and no longer producing the product. Sometimes they will appear on Amazon from private sellers and you may be able to find some on Craigslist. This site serves as a central location for recipes and information on the product. If we had a some to Hearthkits to sell, we’d love to sell to you!

Best of luck in your search and thank you for your comment.

Is there some place to get a replacement thermometer for this? I just got one for free, but it doesn’t have the thermometer or wire rack. I can live without the rack, but I’d really like to get a hold of a thermometer.

I’ll sell you mine – it’s used and has some cosmetic chips in the back, but is fully functional. I can send photos if you are interested.

I used the hearthkit once. Works great but I don’t really need it. Are you still looking for one?

Here is an inexpensive option. Though it may not be quite as good it has served me very well.

Measure the width of your oven racks
Go to a local tile dealer
Purchase enough unglazed quarry tile to cover (Must be unglazed and as thick as possible)
Many dealers will allow you to rent/borrow their tile cutter
Lay out the tiles to cover the racks cutting only when needed to fully cover them
Voila! If you have a convection oven, even better!

If a tile cracks replacing it costs very little. I’ve been using my set for over 25 years to bake pizza and breads of all kinds.
